One of the two projects is to build Road DT.482 connecting National Highway 1A with National Highway 10 and connecting National Highway 10 with National Highway 12B. The other is to upgrade a road connecting National Highway 12B with National Highway 10 running through Yen Mo and Kim Son districts.
According to the Department of Transport, the DT.482 project has five routes and seven bridges with a total length of 43.8 kilometers. It has total investment capital of 1.47 trillion VND (59.3 million USD).
Construction of the road started on March 23, 2022 and is scheduled to be completed within 33 months.
It runs through four localities, including Ninh Binh city, Yen Khanh, Kim Son and Yen Mo districts.
The total area of reclaimed land is 94.7 hectares. To date, 19.7 kilometers out of 39.63 kilometers of the construction site have been cleared and handed over to contractors.

The project is divided into different phases, with the first phase (2020-2024) having a total investment capital of more than 200 billion VND (8.4 million USD), and building 4.22 kilometers of road and one bridge.
At present, the clearance site work has been carried out actively. The contractor started construction as soon as the site was handed over. Total value of construction and installation was 10.24 billion VND out of 102.5 billion VND.
At the working session, investors asked relevant localities to focus on the site clearance work so as to hand over the construction sites as scheduled.
Localities also reported advantages and disadvantages during their site clearance work.
After inspecting the projects and listening to suggestions, Ngoc asked concerned parties to focus on carrying out the projects and ensuring the legitimate rights of local people.
He also required the investors to steer contractors accelerate the progress of construction as scheduled.
Contractors must prepare all conditions in terms of workforce and machines to soon begin construction right after the sites are cleared, Ngoc said, adding that they must ensure safety, quality and progress of construction.
The province will prioritise capital for these projects, he promised.
The chairman also requested localities to speed up the site clearance work and building of residential areas for affected households.
