Central leaders convey Tet greetings to Ninh Binh people

The ministers attended a get-together in Ninh Binh city with leading provincial officials.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Ninh Binh Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh highlighted important and comprehensive attainments the locality reached in 2015, including a GDP growth of 8.7%.

New-style rural development has been boosted, enabling the provinceto be listed among leading provinces nationwide in implementing rural construction program.

Tourism turnover reached a high record of 1.4trillion VND (63 million USD) and total budget collection hit 4.3 trillion VND (193 million USD).

People's living standards were improved. Defence and security were safeguarded, she said.

Thanh also underlined the success of the province's 21st Party Congress.

On behalf of the province's authority, Thanh conveyed her warmest greetings to revolutionary veterans, contributors, war invalids and martyrs, cadres and party members, army forces and entire people on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year festival.

At the gathering, the Public Security leader informed attendees about the outcomes of the 12thNational Party Congress.He also spoke highly of achievements made by Ninh Binhand its people over years.

Ninh Binh should exert its utmost efforts to implement Resolutions of the 21stprovincial Party Congress and the 2th National Party Congress successfully, he stressed.

He also wished Ninh Binh Party, authority and people a warm Tet festival.
