On the occasion of the 70thanniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27), leaders of the Ministry of Public Secutiry and the local government of Ninh Binh province organized a wide range of activities to express gratitude to war invalids, martyrs, policy beneficiary families, people rendering great services to the nation, and some war invalid nursing centers in the province.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security visited and presented gifts to war invalids in Nho Quan war invalid nursing center. The deputy minister expressed his deep gratitude to war invalids and people who rendered services to the nation for their great contributions to national liberation and development.
He also wished these people health and encouraged them to set good examples for younger generations to follow.
Also on this occasion, Secretary of the Ninh Binh Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh and other local department officials visited and offered gifts to war invalid Bui Van Cuu, Gia Lam commune,Nho Quan district.
The same day, Chairman of the provincial People's Council Tran Hong Quang visited and handed gifts to beneficiaries in Yen Mo functional rehabilitation center.
He also visited and presented gifts to Pham Duy Khanh, an Agent Orange victim in Yen Dong commune, Yen Mo district.
Meanwhile,Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People's Council Bui Mai Hoa offered gifts to beneficiaries in districts of Yen Khanh and Kim Son.
On this occasion, provincial leaders and representatives of authorities and mass organizations visited and presented gifts to thousands of war invalids, martyrs, people with credit forthe nation,and Vietnamese heroic mothers in various localities.
