Cambodian senior officials visit Ninh Binh

The guests were received by the Vice Minister of Public Security, Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, and Secretary of the Ninh Binh provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh.

At the meeting, Nguyen Thi Thanh expressed her joy to receive the delegation, and introduced them to Ninh Binh's strengths and potential, as well as socio-economic development in the past few years.

She expressed her hope that the sound relations between Vietnam and Cambodia will be tightened and developed in the coming time.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs Samdech Sar Kheng thanked the host for the warm welcome and hailed Ninh Binh's development, especially in tourism and transportation.

In the coming time, Ninh Binh and Cambodia will foster a cadre exchange program to learn each other's experience in socio-economic development, in particularly in the tourism industry, he said.

He also committed to working actively to raise Vietnam-Cambodia relations to a new height.

Also on this occasion, the Ninh Binh leader presented the Cambodian delegation a gift picture of Trang Anl andscape complex - the province's famous destination, which is known widely by domestic and foreign tourists.
