Budget collection in Ninh Binh hits VND 7.2 trillion

The northern province of Ninh Binh collected VND 7.2 trillion(317 million USD) for the State budget in 2016, reported the provincial Department of Finance.
The figure included nearly VND 5.5 trillion (2.7 million USD) from domestic collection and VND 1.7 trillion (32 million USD ) from export and import activities.
As a result, the total budget collection exceeded the estimates allocated by the provincial People's Council by 51% and posted a rise of 66% from 2015.
The outcome was attributed to efforts made by all agencies and units which have outstandingly fulfilled tasks assigned by the provincial People's Council.
The figure marked a record high to date and a milestone in budget collection, creating a strong driving force for local socio-economic development.
