The 7th session of the 15th People's Council of Ninh Binh province in the 2021-2026 tenure wrapped up on July 15 morning after three days of working.

In the July 15 morning sitting, delegates discussed numerous reports, proposals and draft resolutions.
They contributed ideas to the report on the implementation of socio-economic development plan in the first six months of 2022 and tasks set for the remaining months of the year.
Participants also stressed the need to take drastic solutions to improve the province's growth indices and provincial competitiveness index (PCI); enhance land management work; promote investment promotion and administrative reform; and build new-style rural areas.

Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc thanked delegates for their contributions to the report on the performance of the socio-economic development plan in the first six months of 2022 as well as orientations and tasks for the second half of the year. The People's Committee would take these contributing ideas into consideration for supplement to the report.
As for solutions to boost socio-economic development in the second half of 2022, the provincial People's Committee and other sectors discussed and agreed to make every effort to reach the growth target of 7%, focusing on the fields of tourism, services and agriculture.
Ngoc also pointed out reasons and responsibilities as well as solutions to remove difficulties for firms and speed up administrative reform to improve the PCI.
After discussions, delegates voted to approve 18 resolutions, with all present deputies "saying yes".

Speaking at the closing session, Chairman of the provincial People's Council Tran Hong Quang asked the provincial People's Committee to continue steering departments, sectors, agencies and localities to handles issues raised by voters and delegates.
Quang also urged the provincial People's Committee and local sectors to soon devise plans to implement the freshly-approved resolutions.
