The 7th session of the 15th People's Council of Ninh Binh province in the 2021-2026 tenure officially opened on July 13 morning.

The opening session saw the attendance of member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha; Chairman of the provincial People's Council Tran Hong Quang; and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc, among others.
Opening the session, Chairman of the provincial People's Council Tran Hong Quang said that the session will give ideas on many important issues.

Delegates will hear reports of the provincial People's Committee and sectors on the province's socio-economic situation and national defence - security as well as the governance and implementation of the provincial People's Council's resolutions.
They will also point out weaknesses and shortcomings, and clarify reasons, then define specific tasks and solutions to fulfill the socio-economic goals for 2022.
The session will also discuss and approve 19 draft resolutions.
Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Tong Quang Thin presented a report on the performance of the socio-economic development plan in the first six months, tasks and solutions for the rest of the year.
In the morning sitting, delegates also heard reports summarising voters' opinions as well as the outcomes of the settlement of voter's petitions raised at the previous sessions.

In her remarks, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha stressed that the 7th session of the 15th provincial People's Council in the 2021-2026 term will discuss many important issues that have great impacts on the province's socio-economic situation as well as targets and plans for 2022 and the following years.
Therefore, delegates should carefully study reports, proposals and documents, and contribute their ideas on measures to foster socio-economic development in the remaining months of 2022 and the following years, she said.
The session will also have a question and answer sitting. As scheduled, the 7th session of the 15th People's Council will last for three days until July 15.
