4.6 million tourists visit Ninh Binh

The northern province of Ninh Binh greeted 298,000 tourists inJuly ,a year-on-year rise of 73%, according to the latest statistics provided by the provincial statistics office.
The July figure increased the number of arrivals to Ninh Binh in the first seven months of the year to 4.6 million, up33.9 percent from the same period last year.
Among the number, 330,000 stayed overnight, a year - on - year rise of 18.7 percent, the office reported.
The visitors brought to the local tourism sector an estimated revenue of over 1 trillion VND (45.8 million USD), which reflected a surge of 47.8 percent against the sum recorded a year earlier.
