Secretary of the Ninh Binh provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Ninh Binh provincial Party Committee Nguyen Tien Thanh, Chairman of the Ninh Binh People's Committee Dinh Van Dien, and other leading officials worked hard with a democratic spirit and a high sense of responsibility.
They highly agreed with the assessment of the province's socio-economic implementation in 2016.
During the question-and-answer session, they focused on such hot issues as education, and clean water in rural areas, land clearance in Ich Due hamlet, Ninh Nhat commune, and outstanding debts in basic construction.
Twenty important resolutions were adopted, relating to the socio-economic development in 2017. They cover 16 criteria and four tasks, focusing on boosting the economy, developing the industry, service and agriculture sectors; ensuring social security, reducing poverty rate, protecting the environment, raising living standards for local people;enhancing investment attraction, paying heed to industrial cluster and parks with clean and hi-tech projects, and tourism.
As for tasks for 2017, delegates urged Ninh Binh continue to have strong solutions to remove difficulties for enterprisers; boost administrative procedure reform; settle complains of citizens, and closely control and manage basic construction, especially in building new rural area.
In his closing speech, Chairman of the provincial People's Council Tran Hong Quang underscored these resolutions aim to stimulate socio-economic development, and raise spiritual and material life for people. He asked departments and sectors to work out plans and synchronously implement measures to translate the resolutions into reality.
