2016 football Fair Play Awards announced

The award is presented by the HCM City Law newspaper based on nominations received from sports reporters, editors, supervisors, referees, football experts, and fans from all international matches involving the national senior and junior teams and all professional events, including futsal, organised by the Vietnam Football Federation.

The candidates will be announced and voted for in the media.

This year the organising committee has brought U15 and U17 events into contention for the first time.

The awards will be given away at the end of the year at Tao Dan Stadium, with the ceremony broadcast live on HTV.

Everyone nominating a top five candidate and submitting video clips of their fair play will get gifts.

Here are FIFA's ten fair play codes: play fair; play to win but accept defeat with dignity; observe the laws of the game; respect opponents and teammates, referees, officials and spectators; promote the interests of football; honour those who defend football's good reputation; reject corruption, drugs, racism, violence, gambling and other dangers to our sport; help others resist corrupting pressures; denounce those who attempt to discredit our sport; and use football to make a better world.
