14th Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ninh Binh wraps up

Mr. Trinh Nhu Lam was re-elected as Secretary of the provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. 

Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha; Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc;  Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam Nguyen Tuong Lam attended the congress.

Also attending the event were leaders of local departments, sectors, and agencies, and 234 official delegates representing 47,000 union members in the province.

In the 2017-2022, the youth unions at all levels in Ninh Binh have combined the performance of political tasks of the province and Resolutions of the party congresses at all levels with the implementation of tasks and targets of the youth union's programmes and children's movements. 

The communication and education of ideology, ethics and lifestyle for union members and young people have been regularly organised with diverse forms and appropriate contents. 

Every year, the youth unions at all levels organised practical activities such as Volunteer Spring, Warmer Winter, Youth Month, and Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, and Blood Donation Festival. These activities drew the participation of a large number of union members.

At the congress, the delegates discussed and gave opinions on the results of the youth union's activities and the youth movements, and proposed some solutions to draw the participation of youth union members and create favorable conditions for young people to do business, thereby contributing to successfully completing the tasks of the 2022-2027 tenure.

The congress elected a 29-strong Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ninh Binh for the 2022 -2027 term.  Trinh Nhu Lam was re-elected as Secretary of the provincial Youth Union.
