Con Noi alluvial deposit covers an area of nearly 1,000 hectares in Kim Son district, about 4km away from Binh Minh 4 dyke. It is home to around 200 species of birds, with some of them listed in the Red book. It features immense mangrove forests, marshes, coastal mudflats and estuaries.

As planned, a national-level entertainment complex offering ecotourism, therapy, historical, cultural, and religious tourism, and resorts services will be built in Con Noi by Xuan Truong construction company. Besides, a shrine dedicated to Lac Long Quan and another to Au Co, the legendary foreparents of the Vietnamese nation, will be constructed in Con Noi and in Cuc Phuong National Park, respectively.

The project covers an area of 4,155 hectares and will be completed by 2021.

At present, the 6km long bridge connecting Binh Minh 3 dyke and Con Noi alluvial deposit has been completed, together with the Lac Long Quan shrine.

Con Noi has been awarded the World Bio-Sphere Reserve status by UNESCO.

Under Resolution 15 on economic development issued by the Ninh Binh provincial Party Committee (the 19th tenure), Kim Son district has adopted a resolution on boosting the sea-based economy and tourism to turn Con Noi into a destination popular among visitors.

With the project and its huge potential of a coastal area, Con Noi will surely become an attractive draw to visitors in the coming time, contributing to the locality’s socio-economic growth.
